Overview

Our policy lasts 30 calendar days from the date of purchase or delivery (whichever applies). After 30 days we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.

  • In-studio services (e.g., whitening sessions) are considered fully rendered on the appointment date and therefore non-refundable once the service is completed.
  • Retail products (whitening kits, gels, accessories) may be returned within 30 days if they meet the conditions below.

Eligibility for Returns (Retail Products)

To qualify for a return, the product must:

  1. Be unused, unopened, and in the same condition in which you received it.
  2. Include all original packaging and accessories.
  3. Be accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase.

Non-returnable items

  • Opened or partially used oral-care products (e.g., gels, strips, mouth trays) for hygiene reasons.
  • Gift cards or e-gift certificates.
  • Downloadable or digitally delivered items.
  • Personal-care items marked “final sale.”
  • Hazardous or flammable materials (e.g., pressurized aerosols).

Partial Refunds

Partial refunds may be granted if an item:

  • Shows obvious signs of use.
  • Is not in its original condition, is damaged, or has missing parts not due to our error.
  • Is returned more than 30 days after delivery.

Refunds (If Applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll email you to confirm receipt and approval (or rejection) of your refund.

  • Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days.
  • A credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment.
  • Shipping fees (if any) are non-refundable.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received an approved refund yet:

  1. Re-check your bank or card account.
  2. Contact your credit-card issuer—it may take several days before your refund posts.
  3. Contact your bank—there is often processing time before a refund appears.
  4. If you’ve completed the steps above and still have not received your refund, email us at contact@dssmilestudio.com.

Sale Items

Only regularly-priced items may be refunded; sale or clearance items are final sale.

Exchanges

We replace products only if they are defective or damaged. Email contact@dssmilestudio.com with photos of the issue, and send the item to:

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once we receive the returned item, a gift certificate will be emailed to you.

Shipping Returns

To return a product, mail it to the address above.

  • You are responsible for return shipping costs. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
  • If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping (if we provided a label) will be deducted from your refund.
  • For high-value items, consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance—we can’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
